Feast for Our Firefighters

Our “Feed the Firefighters” program is underway and the first feast at the Fairview Station was a success.  Food was delivered to the station on Saturday, April 14^th to the grateful firefighters of the B shift.  They actually seemed a little surprised at all the food and that we took the time to thank them in such a delicious way. We could tell they really appreciated the kindness of the Middleridge community and couldn’t wait for us to leave….so they could dig right in!

The next Feed the Firefighters event is planned for Saturday, June 30^th for another shift of fire fighters at the Fairview station.

Your help is needed and this is what we need:

• People to make home-cooked items:

Salads

Main food items – Sloppy Joe, ribs, casseroles

Side dishes

Fruit /Veggie tray

Cookies

Desserts

• People to deliver the food on June 30^th

• Kids to make fun cards – thanking the firefighters for the great work they do everyday;  make the cards simple or be creative
