I just discussed the latest AAA rate increase card with Cheryl Woods. She affirmed that the Middleridge rate remains $20.99 per month until April 30, 2006. She has attempted to have their accounting department identify Middleridge residents and make sure the next invoice doesn't include the $1.04 monthly increase. We all know that this may not occur so we need to get the word out as best we can. Paul - I'll assume you will get the word out through the Web site. Al - it may be a good idea to use the block captain e-mail chain to get out the word. Finally, we could attach a note with the January newsletter announcing this update. I haven't received word about the newsletter printing so it may allow us to get in an article in it. See you all tomorrow night. Al Melanson (1/8/06)
Seems Cheryl is
trying to deal with the Billing issues. The following information has been provided by Cheryl Wood, AAA representative Please inform your residents to only pay $20.99 per month ($62.97 quarterly) effective May 1, 2005. If they already paid a different rate it will be credited on their next invoice. MCA Members: Please review the proposal from AAA showing the agreed upon rate and dates of service. AAA TRASH REMOVAL DOES IT AGAIN AAA is once again sending out incorrect bills. To send an email to AAA click on UPDATED mailing list. The email will go to AAA Trash local office as well as their corporate headquarters. A copy will automatically go to each MCA Board member so they can track the number of complaints sent. The link only establishes an Address List and a Subject. You'll need to describe your particular issue within the body of the email.
